Before we started working with Randi our 5.5 month old struggled with both day and nighttime sleep. I felt extremely overwhelmed trying to navigate the best way to help him. There is an overwhelming amount of information online and the popular online programs felt like fitting a square peg going into a round hole. Randi not only offered us options to make sure the plan was going to fit our family’s needs, but she understood the emotional aspect of sleep training for a parent.
We are now at the end of our 2 weeks of working with Randi and our son is putting himself to sleep with no pacifier and minimal to no crying! Bedtimes used to be stressful as we knew it meant crying and frequent waking, and now they are full of giggles and sound sleep!
Randi was there every step of the way and for that we are beyond thankful! There was not a bedtime over the 2 weeks that she missed checking in to see how things went. She answered every possible question we had and helped adjust our daily schedule when appointments created conflicts. We just can't thank Randi enough for helping our son get better sleep and giving us the skills/confidence to continue his progress on our own, we are beyond grateful!

Prior to hiring Emily as our sleep consultant my 4 month old was waking up every 2-3 hours through the night and his day time naps were almost non existent. I was physically and emotionally exhausted. I did not know how I would continue to make through each day, something had to give. I reached out to Emily and she was extremely professional and kind. She talked me through what her services looked like and helped create a tailored plan according to my baby and my own personal needs. Within two days my baby was falling asleep independently with little to no resistance. I was amazed. Within a weeks time, he slept a full 8 hours through the night. I started working with Emily because my son was waking up almost every hour, couldn't self-soothe and was extremely dependent on us rocking him to sleep at all hours of the night. Bed time would take almost 2 hours, he was in a constant cycle of over tiredness and we needed to tackle his sleep schedule somehow. Emily created a custom plan for our son based on the information we provided to her. I wanted to make sure we did a gentle approach which I emphasized to Emily in the beginning. She ensured that we would do just that. My son went from waking every hour, screaming when waking up and never getting into a deep sleep, to doing 8-10 hour stretches. I never thought it was possible BUT this little man is FINALLY sleeping through the night. He has made so much progress, and we are so proud of him for how far he has come.
Before sleep training he couldn’t self soothe and would never sleep unless my husband or I would hold and rock him . I never thought he would ever get a chance to enjoy sleeping in his own space BUT he is doing it!!!

My experience with Teaching Sweet Sleep has been truly life changing. Our little one was waking up 5 plus time most nights and had a really difficult time at nap time. When I first met with Randi and Emily they were so kind and I truly felt reassured that we were going to get to a better place with sleep. They knew the answers to my questions and really worked around my request for having a more gentle approach to sleep training.I loved that I could text Randi during the day with any questions I had and she helped “troubleshoot” whenever a catnap occurred. My 10 month old had a few health setbacks early on which prompted us to create some pretty strong sleep dependencies. He couldn't self sooth, was waking multiple times a night and was dependent on a parent to feed or rock him to sleep. We weren't comfortable letting him cry too much and Emily worked with us to create a plan that we were comfortable with and my son thrived with! In just 2 weeks he was sleeping 7:30pm-7:30 am with no wake-ups and napping twice a day for over an hour and half each nap. We never thought we'd see the day. He is now thriving because he is so well rested, and so are we. My only regret is not doing this sooner.

Randi was such an asset to my family. I am a mother of three (2.5 and 2 8 month olds). As I’m sure you’re aware sleep is EXTREMELY vital as a parent, but having three under 3 made it seem near impossible. My daughter turned 2 in June. She was a great sleeper from about 5 months until 2 years old. A few weeks after she turned 2, she discovered how to climb out of her crib. My husband and I did everything to keep her in the crib, but nothing worked. We switched her to a toddler bed and it was an awful transition. Since sleep training was so successful when she was a baby, I knew we needed help again. I reached out to Randi and her responsiveness was incredible. We had a chat, decided it was the right move and started sleep training with her. While the first week was still rough, with soo much support, patience and guidance, I can now confidently say my daughter sleeps through the night. She still fights me once in a while with naps and bedtime, but I know she will go to bed on her own, which brings me so much comfort.

We sought out Emily's services after our previously perfect sleeper hit a major two year regression. Our daughter was protesting bedtime for hours, up in the middle of the night for hours, up for the day at 5:30 am, and/or refusing naps. It was so overwhelming! After five weeks of none of us sleeping well I had a quick consult call with Emily and really agreed with her philosophy of coaching toddlers during the day to sleep well at night. It worked! She can sleep in her own crib. I didn't think it was possible, our daughter had been coming into our bed for the past year and bedtime was a battle every night. Emily was responsive and coached me through the entire process. We took it slowly and tackled bedtime first and then for her sleeping through the night. My daughter continues to sleep well. She even woke up in the middle of the night because she peed through her diaper and I was able to change her and put her right back in bed. Before working together that would have never happened!

I hired Emily to help with my 14 month old son and to get him on a solid sleep schedule. We had been co-sleeping for 7 months and he was up 3-4 times a night and needed a lot of support to sleep. It was exhausting. Hiring Emily was the BEST decision for our family, and most importantly, to help my son get the sleep he desperately needed. Emily really helped figure out his daytime sleep and worked with us to get his naps consolidated down to one long mid-day nap instead of two. It made a huge difference and after the first week of sleep training we saw so much progress! Engaging with Randi at Teaching Sweet Sleep has easily been one of the best decisions we have ever made! We struggled for weeks trying to transition our 3.5 year old son to his big boy bed by using a variety of different techniques and nothing seemed to work. Randi provided an easy, stress free plan that we implemented 24 hours after we talked and saw an instant change in our son's behavior. By night two, he was sleeping through the night and would fall asleep independently! Emily was honestly magic! I never thought I’d be able to put my daughter into the crib and she’d fall asleep on her own. We were still rocking to sleep with a bottle and doing contact naps. And now I feel like I have my sanity back! Bedtime had taken two hours and now we are at a 20 minute routine and I can actually enjoy my night instead of going right to bed! I wish I would have scheduled time with Randi MONTHS ago! She helped us set up a new sleep routine and gave me the tools needed to handle night wake ups. Now we’re all happier! I am not going to lie, starting Teaching Sweet Sleep I felt very nervous because I knew my son could possibly do it BUT and there’s always that BUT. I was so scared for everything in between. Thankfully Randi made it as easy as possible. I can’t thank Randi enough for guiding me every step of the way and answering a hundred and one questions from me daily. I honestly think she could feel my anxiety through the phone because she always knew exactly what to say, and before I knew it my son was sound asleep. His 1st independent nap he napped for a whole 2 hours!!!! Mind you my son would wake up literally every hour at night and nap maybe 15 minutes if I was lucky. You cannot put a price on sleep and having overall a happier baby. Babies need their sleep and I know my son definitely needed it. Emily- You have changed our lives and given us so much freedom now that our baby is putting herself to sleep and sleeping through the night! Randi with Teaching Sweet Sleep has changed my entire mindset toward my daughter's sleep. Our first call, I sobbed to her out of frustration after having just drove around for over an hour for my daughter to nap for 5 minutes. I was dreading bed time every night and feeling resentful towards bed time. After receiving the sleep plan, I felt confident in starting this journey. Randi helped me feel confident and ready to move forward with following the sleep plan. I was sitting right where you are, desperate for sleep and thinking “is it REALLY worth it to hire someone for help?” My husband’s words, not mine. But yes, yes yes YES! We had a freshly turned 2 year old, who was still being nursed, then held until she fell asleep. She woke at least 3 times in the night, asking to be held or fed. After a particularly frustrating, tiring night, I found Teaching Sweet Sleep. I was skeptical since we already tried sleep training through our insurance and it failed and ended with lots of tears, from us all. My favorite part of our sleep training journey was having a professional remind my husband that we are a team. When we get frustrated he tends to loose focus on the routine and revert back. The 4 month sleep regression led to us co-sleeping. 2 months in I hit my breaking point because my baby was waking up every 1.5-2 hrs. We reached out the Emily and she was quick to help us lay out a plan and take action. Within days our son was sleeping 6-7 hour stretches at night. It seemed unreal. It was a grueling process of adjustments for everyone - baby and parents - and we would not have been able to do it without Emily coaching us. When we started working with Emily we were struggling with both daytime and nighttime sleep. Our 7 month old was waking 4-5 times a night, waking around 5:00 a.m., and struggling to nap. The whole family was exhausted and I was always worried about my baby's sleep! Emily designed a plan that worked best for our family, as well as gave different options for sleep training so that we could feel comfortable. She was responsive to questions and was someone to lean on for support getting through those first couple days of sleep training. After working with Emily for 2 weeks, our 7 month old was sleeping 11 hour stretches, was no longer waking at 5:00 a.m., and taking longer/independent naps at both home and daycare. I could not recommend Emily enough!
